Christmas greetings

H,H, Z & J's visit in late October included 4 walks.

First was the Ullswater lakeshore walk: take the steamer from Glenridding (at one end of the lake) to Howtown (midway along one side) and walk back along the lakeside.

Second was a circular walk from the village of Hartsop, in Patterdale, between the two lakes Brotherswater and Ullswater (photos by Hanka H).

The third was from Winder, the hill behind the Coach House, to the Calf another of the hills in the Howgills range (photos by Hanka H).
