This is Martin (by Derwentwater). He loves photography.

This is Marcela (at the Britannia Inn, Elterwater: http://www.britinn.net/ ). She likes travelling with her son because she sees things from a different perspective.

Photos: Betty B

These photos of Beatriz and Pilar's visit are entitled 'Betty B' as Pili loves Betty Boop and Bea is 'B'. It's been more than usually rainy these past two weeks....but, as our visit to Hardraw reminded us, if it never rained there would be no rainbows....

Bowness: Blackwell: The Arts and Crafts House:
The Arts and Crafts Movement promoted the work of individual artisans (as opposed to mass production) in late 19th/early 20th century.

The Kirkstone Pass: The Kirkstone Pass Inn: The third highest Inn in England.

Waterhead, near Ambleside on Lake Windermere: More rowing boats!

Hawes: Wensleydale Creamery: Home of Wensleydale cheese. http://www.wensleydale.co.uk/

Hardraw Force: Heraclitus said: 'You can never step into the same river; for new waters are always flowing on to you'. The same seems to apply to waterfalls...This time there was a rainbow at Hardraw and it looked completely different from all previous visits. It was magical...

Dent: The Dentdale Show: Corio Raptor Care and Rehabilitation:

Bea with Timone the barn owl.

Tan Hill, Swaledale: The Tan Hill Inn:
